Pastime Comics Publishes Creator-Owned Webcomics Free to Read Online
Vancouver, British Columbia Dec 22, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - Pastime Comics is an independent webcomic project created by Srijayanth Saseendran, featuring original, creator-owned comics published online and free to read.
The platform hosts a mix of short-form humor comics and longer narrative-driven series, all released directly through the Pastime Comics website. The project focuses on accessibility, consistency, and creative experimentation, with no paywalls or subscription requirements for readers.
One of the ongoing series on the site is Rex Cooper, a story-focused webcomic inspired by espionage fiction and character-driven storytelling. The series follows a grounded narrative style, balancing suspense and restrained humor across episodic releases.
In addition to narrative series, Pastime Comics also publishes Flatheads, a collection of standalone humor comics centered on everyday logic failures, absurd situations, and dark humor. Together, these series represent the range of storytelling styles explored on the platform.
Pastime Comics has steadily grown its readership by maintaining a regular publishing schedule and a streamlined reading experience. The website also includes interactive elements designed to complement the comics without distracting from the reading flow.
All the comics on Pastime Comics are creator-owned and free to read, said Srijayanth Saseendran. The focus has always been on consistency and accessibility, while experimenting with different storytelling formats within the webcomic space.
New comic releases and updates are published regularly on the Pastime Comics website.
