Villain Victor Debuts as Kickstarter Film Comedy Satirizing Fame
Los Angeles, California Jun 16, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - VillainVictor, a riotous indie comedy written and directed by Filipp Romanychev, has launched its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The film follows Victor, a down-on-his-luck actor who reluctantly plays a villain in a PR stunt and soon finds himself tangled in unexpected cons.

The Kickstarter campaign aims to engage audiences directly in the filmmaking process. Backers can choose from rewards including a Special Thanks credit, exclusive behind-the-scenes access, and entry in a giveaway for Trippin with Fibi, Romanychevs previous comedy feature. Physical collectors will appreciate the production of 2,000 high-quality 4K Blu-rays.
VillainVictor is more than just a comedy its the first project from Romanychevs new community-powered media company, designed to champion underdog creators and foster audience collaboration. Donors can pledge starting at just $10. The campaign closes in 24 days.
